He's a Tacoma City Councilman. Here's his bio: Mike Lonergan was re-elected to the at-large position 6 City Council seat in 2005, and served in the position of Deputy Mayor in 2006. Mike Lonergan served for 20 years as an executive of Christian social service organizations, including the Tacoma Rescue Mission and The Salvation Army. Mike previously served as Executive Director of the Tacoma Rescue Mission for more than 12 years. He also hosted talk programs on local radio and television stations, the NAACP and the New Tacoma Neighborhood Council. Mike, a graduate of the University of Washington, is the father of two grown sons and lives in the Proctor District with his wife Paula.
